ABOUT US

In 2018 the founder of Wiener Tactical produced a single shirt as joke for one of his siblings. Fast forward a few years, Wiener Tactical has printed thousands of shirts and shipped to countries all over the globe! 

OUR NAME

Wiener Tactical got its name from its original inspiration and mascot, Gretchen; Gretchen Wieners. A miniature dachshund with an attitude bigger than both her bark and her bite! At ten pounds and only eight inches tall, Gretchen had more moxie than any other K9 you’ve ever met. The pup that launched a thousand shirts!

OUR FOUNDER

Wiener Tactical was founded by Jeremiah “Tru” Truhlar. At its inception, Tru was serving as a police officer for a small Chicago suburb—the original logo concept was sketched while on duty. He now serves in the United States Army as an active-duty firefighter.
